Art Class with our own Teacher Elicia
Hello! My name is Elicia and I go by Teacher Elicia here at Kiddie Krafts Preschool. I am the art specialist here and I do art and sensory classes with infants through kindergarten every week! I was previously a prek teacher for three school years and I am really enjoying the opportunity to work with all the budding artist here at the school! I have a degree in studio arts with a focus in photography. Kiddie Krafts is big on self expression and creativity. We have a focus in process art here at the school which allows the child to have freedom and build confidence while creating. We get inspired by learning about famous artist and I do still teach different techniques,skills and will set the scene for the kids when we’re working on specific projects, but the children get the chance to explore and use the materials in their own ways. All of these elements make for very exciting, messy, explorative, and intuitive art works.
Sensory Exploration with Ms. Julie Cruz (Infants-4 years)
Come join me for all sensory discoveries. Classes will include everything from loose parts to ice to shaving cream and more. Parents will be able to interact with their child and learning a few ideas to incorporate at home. Julie Cruz has been our Assistant Director here at Kiddie Krafts for the past few years and she previously led some Parent and me classes.
KKP Open Play and Chat with Ms. Julie Cruz (12m-3yrs)
We all love to play, dance, sing, and read together. This class is an open class that offers children lots of opportunities to create experiences with their child and other friends. Your child will get to do some group activities while also exploring the room with sensory bins, toys, art materials, and more. This is a mixed age hour and a half class on Fridays.
